Employee Selection Tool

The employee selection process is often compared with two actors in a play: the manager playing one role and the candidate playing another. It is an intricate dance with both sides attempting to make favorable impressions and operating under unconscious assumptions. Managers often have such a need to fill a vacancy that they spend more time selling the company and the job versus exploring how well-suited a candidate is for the position. Similarly, candidates are often so anxious to make a good impression and to “win” a job that they lose their objectivity regarding whether or not they fit the given position.

The Berke Assessment employee selection tool helps managers and candidates step off the stage. The Berke’s analysis of a candidate’s personality and natural talents, and its measurement of the fit between a specific candidate and a specific job, inserts much-needed objectivity into an otherwise subjective process. Used in conjunction with reference checks and a comprehensive interview process, the information in the Berke Assessment and its “probing suggestions” allows managers to successfully assess the compatibility of a candidate’s attributes with a given position. The end result is ensuring the right person is hired for the job, eliminating costly turnover and increasing the productivity and profitability of your organization.
